Living The Dream was founded by Mrs. Lydia and Abraham Koranteng.

Biography

Mrs. Lydia Ladze Aku Koranteng was born in Ghana, West Africa to Christian parents. She completed primary education in the University Primary and Saint Monica’s Primary schools and did her secondary education at Wesley Girls High School, Cape Coast. She obtained a BA Honours degree in Religions and Classical Civilization at the University of Ghana, Legon.

Lydia is married to Abraham Koranteng and they have been blessed with two beautiful daughters Kristine and Michelle, who both love the Lord dearly and are actively involved in their local churches.

More About Rev. Lydia

Lydia worked as a Senior Curator at the Ghana National Museums and Monuments Board [GMMB] during which time she organized several exhibitions, and fundraising projects and played an instrumental part in setting up the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum in Accra and spearheaded a documentary on GMMB with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation [1986-1995].

In 1998 whilst in the UK she pursued a Nursing career and is a dual-qualified Nurse in Adult General and Mental Health Nursing. She has worked as a nurse in both the private sector and the National Health Service [NHS] and also within the prison service. 

Between 2011-2014 Lydia worked as an associate lecturer at Oxford Brookes University and as a tutor at the City of Oxford College. Lydia is currently a clinical advisor with the NHS 111 service [from 2012 to date].

Mrs. Koranteng is the co-founder of Reaching Out Foundation- Uk, the Reaching Out Widows Ministry, and the Reaching Out Fashion school in Ghana.

She is the author of God Moments Testimonies and a three-pack series “Living the Dream” published in December 2020. You can find out more about the publications here

Lydia is also engaged in a ministry of empowering young church leaders, relational evangelism and discipleship, teaching, writing, and public speaking.

Lydia was ordained into the ministry on 28th November 2020. She serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for Zion Way Ministries and a former vice president of the Well Women UK network.
