Donation Shipment: From UK To ghana & Onwards

How It Works

The process begins with the collection of items for our beneficiaries in Ghana. In March, a generous assortment of goods was gathered, including food items such as milk, rice, sardines, oils and mackerel. But it didn’t stop there. Donors also provided bath products, clothing for all age ranges, and a variety of mobility aids, such as Zimmer frames, walking sticks, and wheelchairs. These essential items significantly contribute to the welfare and independence of the widows we support.

Thanks to Manc Global Logistics for facilitating the shipping process in a safe and timely manner. the collected goods are prepared for shipping to Ghana. Given the considerable distance and various logistics involved, the shipment is anticipated to take between 5-6 weeks to arrive in Accra, the capital of Ghana.

Arrival

Upon arrival, a dedicated team sorts and repackages the goods for distribution. Each item is handled with care and attention, ensuring that they reach the intended recipients in the best possible condition. The sorted packages are then distributed to the widows, an act that not only meets their immediate needs but also brings a sense of hope and the knowledge that they are not alone.
